Privacy Policy Summary
You can read every page on this site without creating an account or giving us your name or email. We collect limited usage data to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell personal information.
Information We Collect
First-Party Visitor Analytics
Each page loads a small first-party analytics script. When a page loads, it records:
- the page address and the site you came from, if it was another site;
- campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign);
- screen size, browser language, and time zone;
- clicks on links that leave this site.
The script stores a random visitor ID in your browser's local storage and a session ID in session storage that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. It does not set cookies or read form fields. As with any web request, the analytics server receives your IP address.
Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to measure traffic. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data under Google's privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on.
Hosting and Server Logs
The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver pages and block abuse. Fonts are hosted on our own domain, so reading a page does not send a request to a font service.
Sponsored Listings and Links to Schools
The site does not currently show sponsored program listings. Pages link to schools, and when you follow one, that school collects whatever you submit under its own privacy policy, not this one.
How We Use Information
We use analytics to see which pages people read, fix broken pages, and decide what to improve. We do not use it to identify you by name, and we do not sell or rent it.
Your Choices
You can clear this site's local storage at any time in your browser settings. Blocking scripts from third-party domains stops any analytics script from loading. The site works fully either way.
Children
This site is written for adults researching graduate degrees. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes and Contact
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Questions or requests about your data can be sent to hello@savomediagroup.com.
